Description

Homeleigh Halt Guest House offers you luxury accommodation in the beautiful garden suburb of Walmer, Port Elizabeth, within 15 minutes from all major attractions.

All rooms are ensuite with own entrances, satellite TV (DSTV commercial bouquet), fans, tea/coffee making facilities, safe and bathroom amenities.

A scrumptious full English breakfast is served in the dining room or on the patio overlooking the garden and pool. Dinner can be arranged on request.

There is one self catering unit that sleeps a maximum of 4 people.

Our four star guest house welcomes you to a unique atmosphere where you will immediately feel comfortable and pampered.

Secure on site parking available.  Premises are under 24 hour CCTV surveillance.

 We also offer an airport shuttle service.

Accommodation

Homeleigh Halt has a total of 6 rooms, each one unique and individually decorated.

All rooms are ensuite with own entrances, satellite TV (DSTV commercial bouquet, this includes 3 Super Sport Channels) hairdryer, fans, tea/coffee making facilities, safe and bathroom amenities.

Each room has an area suitable for paperwork.
Guests are otherwise welcome to work in the guest lounge where there is an ADSL internet connection or on the patio overlooking the pool at the huge table where there is ample lighting.

Our beds are of the highest quality and dressed in crisp 100% cotton percale linen. You are guaranteed a comfortable nights rest.

Soft, thick towels will embrace you when you step out of the shower/bath. Each bathroom has a face cloth and towel per guest.
Each bed is covered with a plump duvet and a lighter blanket is available either draped over the bottom of the bed or stored in the cupboard.

Room 1 - Moroccan Room:

Maximum guests: 2 + a camp cot, which can be provided on request.
1 x king size bed. The bathroom has a double shower and double washbasins.

Room 2 -  Orchid Room:

Maximum guests: 4
2 x ¾ beds and a double sleeper couch. Ideal for a family or friends travelling together, who don’t mind sharing.
Shower in bathroom.

Room 3 & 6- Ebony & Ivory Room / African Safari Room:

Standard Accommodation

Maximum guests: 2
1 x double bed. Shower in bathroom

Room 4 - Baobab Room

Deluxe accommodation
Maximum guests: 2 + a camp cot, which can be provided on request.
The Baobab Room has a magnificent king size 4 poster bed!The bathroom has a shower, spa bath and double washbasins.

Room 5 – The Cottage:

Superior Accommodation – The Cottage is a stand alone unit in the garden. Relax and listen to the birds.

Maximum guests: 4 – on either a B&B basis or self catering.
Compact and cosy. Ideal for a long or short stay.

1 x double bed and double bunk beds, in two rooms. The bathroom (shower) is accessed via the room containing the double bunk beds.
The Cottage is fully equipped as a self catering unit. It has a full size fridge/freezer, microwave & table top oven with 2 plates.

BACKPACKERS  (Member of SAYTC)

We have two backpacker dorm style rooms each sleeping a maximum of 6 in bunk beds.

Each room is equipped with a basic kitchenette and satellite TV

 Single: R385.00 - bed only R350.00

Double: R485.00 (sharing) - bed only R415.00

Self Catering Cottage: R665.00 per night max 4 persons / on a bed and breakfast basis R195.00 pppn for 4 persons. Single or Double rates as listed above.

Children: Under 12 - 50% adult rate

Children: Under 4 - R80.00

Children: Under 2 - free (camp cot available on request)
