Why Springvale?

Experience the Dwarsriver Valley & GET MARRIED in a beautiful HISTORICAL STONE CHURCH that can seat 25 people.
Costs are R 400.00 for the ceremony.

Enjoy a 4x4 GAME DRIVE or HIKE in our 3600ha of unspoilt nature - about 3 - 4 hours drive. Transport is available to those who do not have a 4x4 vehicle - R 60.00 per person.

There is a very nice HIKING TRAIL of about one and a half hours going up the hill to a spectacular view point overlooking the Dwarsriver valley and the Springvale cottage.
The trail includes a view of Towerkop as well as the beautifull fynbos & succulent Karoo.

The dirt roads in the area are quiet, well-maintained, undulating and extremely scenic - which makes them perfect for MOUNTAIN BIKING.

 The Cottage:

Springvale offers a spacious, luxurious self-catering cottage with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room and a fully equipped kitchen.

Cottage Facilities:

• Bedding • Towels • Mohair Blankets • Heaters in every room • A fan in the cottage •
• TV (SABC 1/2/3) & DSTV (Bring own DSTV card) •

If you want to have a barbecue, wood is available at R10.00 per crate.

Camping:

Camping site is available for tents and vehicles with roof tents, eco 4x4 trailers and small caravans - 40m from our Guest House and 30km from our farm house. The camping site is on a terrace with lawn overlooking the beautiful vineyard - suitable for families or groups that loves the outdoors. Silence is important – we would not like to disturb our birdlife. Camping is private – we only allow one group / family at a time. Ablution facility about 20m from camp site. Warm water, flush toilet, basin and electricity. Camp site next to Springvale hiking trail.

 At Springvale Cottage only the best service is provided and for your peace of mind, only environmentally friendly cleaning products are used.
