The Old Post Office Tree Square dates back to 1846.

It was utilised as a central trading and meeting area, and very aptly named the Old Post Office Tree Square
as it is situated next to South Africa’s First Post Office (which is an old Milkwood Tree).

All the businesses listed on the menu are all separate entities located on the famous Old Post Office Tree Square.

This store caters for the needs of tourists visiting the Bartolomeu Diaz Museum complex. It carries a selection of curios, clothing, accessories and gifts sourced from many different parts of Africa.

In addition, it stocks destination specific merchandise, which is exclusive to Mossel Bay and illustrates the Town's colourful maritime history. The store, named Jacana, is owned and managed by Wilma Moorcroft.

From Cape Town 1.Take N2 to Mossel Bay. Continue straight on with N2 and becomes R102 - Louis Fourie Rd 2.After 3rd traffic light, take left off-ramp to Mossel Bay into Marsh Street 3.At first Traffic light turn right into Marsh Street; Continue downhill 4. At the corner of Marsh and Church Street traffic lights, turn left into Church Street 5.Cnr of Church and George Rd traffic lights continue straight ahead 6.At following four way stop - Protea Hotel Mossel Bay is in front, on the left corner; Reception in yellow building From Port Elizabeth 1.Take N2 to Mossel Bay. Take left off ramp to Mossel Bay - at first Yield sign, turn left 2.1st Traffic light turn right into Louis Fourie Rd (Shell garage on left) 3.Continue straight on Louis Fourie, passing 2 more traffic lights 4.Turn left at the intersection marked George Rd, approx 2km from last traffic light 5.Cnr of Church and George Str traffic light, turn left (FNB on left) 6. The following four way stop - Protea Hotel Mossel Bay is in front, on the left corner; Reception in yellow building From Oudtshoorn 1.Take the R328 out of Oudtshoorn towards the N2, follow Mossel Bay signs 2.Continue on this road over the mountains and down to Hartenbos 3.Pass Hartenbos on the left. Continue straight road turns into Louis Fourie 4.Turn left at the intersection marked George Rd 5.Cnr of Church and George Str traffic light, turn left. FNB on left.
