Description

Over a centuary ago, Rose Arnold composed a musical waltz entitled Shining Waters . The beauty of the name and the vision it brings to one s mind, enthralled us. The bright shining of the sun and the moon on the water inspired the name of this guest house as it overlooks the warm waters of the Indian Ocean.

Warm South African hospitality awaits guests at Shining Waters, situated near to Wilderness Beach.

Watch the spectacular sunrises and sunsets over the sea. See dolphins all year round and whales in season may be spotted whilst enjoying a tasty breakfast in the dining room or on the sun deck.

All en suite bedrooms have a private entrance, television, hairdryers and tea trays.

Take long walks along the beach with its interesting pothole rock formations, enjoy paragliding, walking trails and bird watching in the nearby nature reserve. Explore the surrounding scenic attractions. Satour accredited.

Directions

Travelling from George to Knysna, past Wilderness Village approximately 3km along the N2. Take a right turn at the Wilderness Beach Hotel and Caltex filling station. Behind Caltex take a left turn and then 2 right turns. Take the dead end road up to the dunes.
