Your hosts are Dr Ben and Dr Deoni van Rensburg. Ben is a retired economist and well-known raconteur who can add value to the fact-finding part of your tour. The Montagu Rose Guest House is centrally situated in the picturesque Montagu village. This Victorian, double storey house was built in the early 1930’s. The mountains can be viewed in a wrap around fashion from the balcony or the huge expanse of windows. DirectionsFrom Cape Town take the N1 to Worcester. Turn off to Worcester and then to Robertson and continue along the R62 to Ashton and Montagu. Entering Montagu by way of Long Street, turn left (4 blocks) into Kohler Street. The Montagu Rose is on the second upper lefthand corner. From Oudtshoorn, follow the Route 62 via Ladismith and Barrydale ? then on to Montagu. Enter Montagu by way of Long Street, cross over three blocks and then turn right in Kohler Street.
