Description

We are a luxury B&B at the foot of the cliff path nature reserve in Hermanus which is the best land base for the observation of whales. Our rooms are all en suite with individual entrance of an indigenous garden. Breakfasts are served under thatch in a lounge/dining room furnished with unique art and furniture. We have a beautiful garden with a heated swimming pool and a jacuzzi in a gazebo. We are few meters away from the new harbour and all its activities and restaurants and it is an enchanting walk along the cliff path to the centre of the village and all its attractions. We can offer diving, cruising, white shark and seal expeditions and much more .

In a tranquil, indigenous garden, close to the ocean, cliff path and whales is House on Westcliff. Each charming bedroom has its own garden entrance, heated towel rail, fridge, tea, coffee facility and a shared satellite TV. Enjoy this beautiful garden lying beside the solar heated pool. Relax in the cosy lounge under thatch and enjoy our original African art, good music and books which will introduce you to the area and its nature. The farm fresh breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the garden. From House on Westcliff it is a few minutes walk to the harbour for boating, cruising, and dining. You may choose to go to the centre of the town for museums, galleries and the many shops and restaurants. A few minutes drive will take you to the beautiful and many beaches of Hermanus. Shark cage diving and boat based whale watching in season are organised from House on Westcliff on a daily basis. We offer secure parking on our premises as well as credit card facilities. Directions

Take the N2 from Cape Town airport. Continue on this road past Somerset West, in the direction of George .Exit the highway about 70km after Somerset West onto the R43. The exit is marked as Kleinmond/Hermanus. Continue towards Hermanus as this becomes Main road. On entering Hermanus turn right onto Albertyn road. At the T-jnction turn right onto Westcliff Road, we are number 96.
