Situated in D'Almeida, Mossel Bay, the Hotel Portao Diaz has beautiful panoramic views of the bay and the Outeniqua Mountains.

There are three pristine beaches namely Santos, De Bakke and Diaz beach. The nearest beach is approximately 2 km away and all beaches offer safe swimming all year round. The visitor can also enjoy whale watching from early July to November.

The hotel is situated in a previously disadvantaged community and in the apartheid era was the only hotel in Mossel Bay open for them.

Directions

When arriving from Cape Town on the N2 continue straight towards Mossel Bay onto Louis Fourie Road drive straight through the first traffic light when arriving to the second traffic light you will see the Checkers centre to your right hand side and Caltex to your left hand side turn left toward Caltex continue down the road through a residential area until you get to a T-Junction turn left you will see the hotel immediately.
