We are situated high up against the ridge in Mossel Bay on the Garden Route of South Africa, a town which has recently been voted as one of the most popular holiday and tourism destinations in our beautiful country.

Our rooms and balconies have panoramic north-facing views of the bay and harbor, and of the coastal towns and Outeniqua mountains in the background, and the town and harbor lights at night time. Highview Lodge offers luxury accommodation [Portfolio Collection accredited and TGCSA 4-STAR grading], in a unique combination of self-catering suites and full guesthouse services.

Our accommodation consists of:
The main guesthouse with three en-suite double/twin bedrooms, lounge, dining room, kitchen and a balcony with a built-in barbecue.
Two suites each with a TV/lounge, open-plan kitchen, double/twin en-suite bedroom, a second compact bedroom with bunk-beds for the juniors and a balcony with a built-in barbecue.
Two studios with separate entrance and outside barbecue area, consisting of a double/twin bedroom, a kitchenette and a bathroom with shower.

Our suites and studios are particularly suitable for, and popular among honeymooners and couples who want total privacy. Our suites can accommodate families of up to four persons.

All our suites/rooms have TV's, hairdryers, shaver-plugs, mini-safes and bar-fridges stocked on request.

At Highview Lodge we invite you to unpack your bags for an extended stay, while you explore what our town has to offer, such as watching the whales or the great white sharks in season, golfing, fishing, and/or visiting our most interesting museums and other historic and archaeological sites.

You can explore the entire Garden Route and Klein Karoo, see the Cango Caves and ostrich farms at Oudtshoorn, the Heads at Knysna, go for game drives and see most of the African wildlife, ride on the famous Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe steam-train, or simply relax and enjoy our wonderful climate and beautiful white beaches.
