Our stands are ideal for any type of camping - tents, caravans etc. The views are spectacular and the facilities in excellent condition (warm water showers + flushable toilets). The stands have electricity and are situated on a grassy terrace. Willow trees provide shade to the campsite. Our campsite is accessible by any vehicle (gravel road). We have a lapa("braai" & "potjie" facilities) and kitchen available to renting for those unpleasant weather conditions. Enjoy our cash bar with flat screen TV at the Restaurant - no excuse to stay at home, you can watch the Rugby/Cricket at Eagle Falls. While watching sport, your family can enjoy our other activities or cool down in the mountain pools. Laundry services available.
Our chalets are situated high, on the edge of a gorge overlooking the Eagle Falls Waterfall and Kammannassie Mountains. It’s a romantic setting and ideal for nature lovers. The chalets are fully equipped and self catering. You can choose to be accommodated in either the 2 bedroom self-contained log chalet or our Honeymoon Suite - an open plan unit that sleeps 2 people. Both units are equipped with crockery, cutlery, microwave, stove, refrigerator, satellite TV, towels and linen. Fire wood is available for the indoor fireplace or outdoor barbecue. DirectionsFrom CAPE TOWN take the N2 past Riversdal to George or via Worcester to Oudtshoorn. From GEORGE take the Outeniqua Pass on the N12 towards Oudtshoorn. At the crossing do not turn but follow the N9 towards Uniondale. Along the road – 44 km after the Oudtshoorn turnoff turn left at BUFFELSDRIFT onto a gravel road. At the crossing turn right. Continue until you get to an Eagles Falls sign at which you turn right just after passing a pink school building. Follow the gravel road until you reach a house from where EAGLE FALLS lodge and cabins can be seen. Turn right on the road towards the main building. From JOHANNESBURG follow the N1 via Bloemfontein, Colesberg, Beaufort West, De Rust Oudtshoorn. At the crossing from Oudtshoorn to George turn left on the N2 towards Uniondale. Along the road – 44 km after the Oudtshoorn turnoff turn left at BUFFELSDRIFT onto a gravel road. At the crossing turn right. Continue until you get to an Eagles Falls sign at which you turn right just after passing a pink school building. Follow the gravel road until you reach a house from where EAGLE FALLS lodge and cabins can be seen. Turn right on the road towards the main building. |
