Description

This peaceful resort is situated near the Hartenbos River and lagoon. If you are looking for a quiet weekend getaway, or a family holiday near the beach, Dibiki is the place to be.

Hartenbos is part of the famous Garden Route and ideally located mid-way between Port Elizabeth and Cape Town. Enjoy the lovely Mediterranean climate, long white sandy beaches and lots of other activities and entertainment in and around the area.

Everything is done on foot in Hartenbos and DIBIKI - going to the beach for a swim, fishing or going shopping.

We offer fully grassed camping sites, immaculate wooden self-catering chalets, Luxury Safari tents and facilities for functions, weddings and a lapa next to the swimming pool for a braai with friends.

Description

Being situated near the river, beach and town, at the dead end of a small road, Dibiki's tranquil setting is a sanctuary for those who wish to relax and enjoy a holiday in a private resort with no busy streets around. The children wave and cheer when the Outeniqua Choo Tjoe steam train and other passenger trains go pass Dibiki on their way to George.

The resort is only 4 km from the Langeberg Mall, and it only takes a few minutes to get to all the necessities like banks, shops, restaurants, etc. The George Airport is an easy 20 km drive away on the N2.

Directions

On the N2 from GEORGE to CAPE TOWN: Take the R102 Hartenbos, Oudtshoorn turn-off. At the T-junction, turn right and follow the ‘DIBIKI’ signs. The small gravel road is only 500 m until you reach the security gate of DIBIKI resort. On the N2 from CAPE TOWN to MOSSELBAY: Stay on the N2 pass Mosselbay to GEORGE. Do NOT take the first turn-off to the R102 Hartenbos/Oudshoorn at the Langeberg Mall, but follow the N2 towards George until you cross the Hartenbos river, then take the turn-off to the R 102 Hartenbos/Oudshoorn. At the T-junction, turn right and follow the ‘DIBIKI’ signs. On the R 102 ( Louis Fourie ) from Mosselbay to Hartenbos/Klein Brakriver: At the traffic light at Engen, stay on the R 102 to Klein Brakriver. At the crossing to Oudtshoorn, Hartenbos Heuwels, Klein Brakriver, turn right and stay on the R 102 for 1.5 km until you sea the Dibiki sign. Turn right and follow the DIBIKI signs.
