Cottage Pie offers guests spacious rooms and suites, fully equipped with every modern convenience. This comfort, combined with the warm personal attention of hosts, Frik and Nerine, guarantees an unforgettable stay on the Garden Route.

Meals are served on a poolside patio beneath cascading Bougainvillaea. Breakfasts range from light Continental (with home-made preserves), to English, to hearty South African.

Frik and Nerine regularly arrange a variety of day tours for guests, favourites include: forest hikes, beach trails on horseback, scuba diving and deep-sea fishing.

Directions

When travelling from Port Elizabeth: Take the first turn-off to your left into Plettenberg Bay. Follow that road (very bumpy) until you come to a circle (round-about) Turn left and follow the road down the steep downhill, until you come to another circle. Go over this circle and turn right into the first road on your right-hand. (Longships Road) Turn left at the second road - Roche Bonne - and follow this road to the T-junction. Turn right into Beachy Head Drive and follow this road. Turn right into Tarbert Ness Avenue - it s the 4th road to your right. We are no. 16. When traveling from Knysna: Take the first turn-off to your right into Plettenberg Bay. The sign will read: Plettenberg Bay South - Piesangvalley Road. Follow this road until you come to a circle. Turn right at this circle and turn right into the first road on your right-hand. (Longships Road) Turn left at the second road - Roche Bonne - and follow this road to the T-junction. Turn right into Beachy Head Drive and follow this road. Turn right into Tarbert Ness Avenue - it s the 4th road to your right. We are no. 16.
