Description

Situated along Walker Bay coastal line is the most extraordinarily beautifully assembled little town situated between mountains peaks and the magnificent ocean. This is home to the beautiful, gentle sea giants when they arrive in the winter months. Southern right whales visit our bay annually between the months of May and November. Hermanus is home to the world’s only whale crier, whom uses a kelp horn to help tourists find the whales. For the golfing enthusiast there are 2 famous golf courses to keep busy, or just relax and have a good time.

Directions

Directions from Cape Town: Travel along the N2 towards Caledon over Sir Lowry’s Pass. At Botriver (approx 100 km from Cape Town) take the Hermanus (R43) off ramp. Travel approx 30 km until you reach the town of Hermanus. Directions to Aristata B & B, Westcliff Enter Hermanus from Cape Town side Cross Traffic light with Total petrol station on your right Turn right at second turnoff after traffic light (De Goede Str) You will see a harbour sign as well as Hospital sign at this turnoff Cross one stop street First turnoff Right after stop street (Canterbury Str) Second turnoff Left - Rochester road No 9
