Ambience Beach House is a three bedroomed house situated in a lovely beach area called Hersham, which is 3km away from the village of Great Brak River.

It is central in the Garden Route and within 20-30km from all the most popular beach areas in the Garden Route, including Diaz Beach, Hartenbos, Heroldts Bay, Victoria Bay, Wilderness, Sedgefield, etc. Hersham also has a clean, and quiet beach area with some rock pools during low tide and also close to the lagoon, which is a lovely swimming area. The house is only 200m from the steps down to the beach, where you can relax for the whole day or go for long walks on the beach.

The almost brand new house has three bedrooms, each with a double or queen bed, with bedding supplied. There is a small lounge with another double sleeper couch and open plan kitchen area, as well as an outside braai area. The house is fully furnished and has everything you would need to have an unforgettable holiday, including a TV, Dishwasher, washing machine, and lots more.

It is situated in a small development, where there are eight built houses already.

Ambience Guesthouse is situated in the heart of the world famous Garden Route on the South Western Coast of South Africa in Outeniquastrand, a prestigious holiday destination away from the hustle and bustle of the busy close-by towns.  Being halfway between Mossel Bay and George, Ambience is the perfect retreat and base from where to explore the many popular tourist attractions of the Garden Route and Little Karoo (Oudsthoorn, Baviaanskloof, Meiringspoort to name but a few).  Come and enjoy an exciting golfing holiday with some of the best golf courses in South Africa, or simply relax on the most beautiful beaches.  We are situated close to Great Brak River, a picturesque historical river-village with more than 20km of unspoiled white sandy beaches and central to the whole Garden Route area.  George Airport is only 10 minutes away and is serviced by all prominent S.A. Airlines and all major car rental companies.

Our location on the hills of Outeniquastrand ensures that all our rooms have magnificent views of the Indian Ocean, Mossel Bay in the distance and hills nearby.  This beautiful setting creates a tranquil atmosphere in which you can relax and rejuvenate!  Experience breath taking sunsets and sleep to the soulful music of the ocean. During whale season you can watch the whales swim by graciously and see how dolphins and seals play in the waves almost daily. At night the peaceful vista of Mossel Bay’s lights and the lighthouse on the point sets the tone for romantic evenings.

Ambience offers three comfortable self-contained Queen Suites,a double Garden Suite with it's own wooden deck as well as a luxury 3 bedroomed self-catering unit – all suites have beautiful seaviews.  The Suites all have seperate parking, DSTV, WI-FI, private entrance and balcony. There is a communial heated pool, outside an undercover braai facilities and a games room that features a pool table. Our budget friendly rates and friendly, efficient service is well known and appreciated.   Meals can be enjoyed at quality restaurants close-by.

Suite 1:  This suite with wooden floors and classic furniture has a private entrance with en-suite bathroom and small kitchenette.  The bathroom includes a bath/shower, basin and toilet.  The kitchenette has a microwave, toaster, fridge, electric frying pan, tea/coffee facilities and cutlery and crockery for two guests.  The room has a sliding door that opens up to a private balcony with spectacular views.  Quality linen and bath towels are provided.  A heated swimming pool is available for the enjoyment of all our guests and the room is fitted with digital satellite TV.

Ocean View Cottage:  This fully equipped self-catering unit is the newest addition to our guesthouse and has three bedrooms (1 Queen-room and 2 twin-rooms), one with an en-suite bathroom and a separate full bathroom and a guest toilet.  A fully fitted open-plan kitchen with granite tops provides a comfortable space to prepare delicious holiday meals while watching your favourite program on DSTV.  An automatic washing machine is also installed.  The lounge is comfortably furnished and opens onto a barbeque "braai" area, which leads to a heated swimming pool.
