The well equipped 2 or 3 bedroom self catering cottages have fireplaces for the winter months and air conditioning for the summer. Each cottage is supplied with the basic kitchen essentials, bedding and towels as well as fire wood to ensure your stay to be an unforgettable experience. The cottages look over a fenced-in swimming pool, fuffi-slide, trampoline, big lawns and a beautiful view of the Langeberg Mountains and Little Karoo peaks

What to expect at Rietvlei:

A 600 hectare working wine and fruit farm, where you can meet the local folk... We speak Afrikaans, English, will understand most of your Dutch and Flemish, ...may nod our heads sometimes if you speak German... or just smile if we do not understand a word... but you will still feel most welcome.

Swimming Pool Cottages

These four semi-detached cottages have the following features:

• 2 Cottages with 2 Bedrooms and a bathroom in each
• 2 Cottages with 3 Bedrooms and a bathroom in each
• Maximum of 6 persons per unit
• Open plan kitchen with a fridge, microwave, crockery etc.
• Towels and linen on the beds, ready for use
• Fenced-in swimming pool withing 30m from cottages, so as to have the children in sight
• Braaifacilities for each cottage (wood is supplied)
• Inside fireplace in each unit for the winter
• Indoor mosquito control, toiletpaper, dishcloths, dishwashingliquid and firelighters for first night
• Please bring own swimming towels and mosquito repellent for outdoors.

Olive Tree Cottage (Honeymoon Cottage)

Features:

• Our most private accommodation
• A shower as well as a corner bath (with candlelight for a honeymoon couple)
• Fireplace in the bedroom for the winter
• Own braai facilities
• Fire wood supplied.
• Indoor mosquito control, toiletpaper, dishcloths, dishwashing liquid and firelighters for first night
• 2 Extra beds in lounge area
• Kitchen (for testing the cooking abilities of the new spouse??!!)
• We supply bedding
• Private garden

The large windows in this cottage, overlooking a bird friendly garden make it ideal for bird watching.

Please bring your own swimming towels and outdoor mosquito repellent.
