Offering unique Bed & Breakfast style accommodation in the tranquil country village of Napier, The Suntouched Inn Guest House, Restaurant and Gallery is the ideal base from which to explore the Cape Overberg region. The Suntouched Inn is truly a place to relax, feel at home, yet away from it all.

The Suntouched Inn is less than 2 hours drive from Cape Town, and only 30 minutes to the beautiful beaches of Arniston, Struisbaai, Cape Agulhas. Hermanus is 40 minutes drive away. Our local activities include horse riding, hiking, mountain biking, or just sitting on the verandah and watching the country life roll by.

Accommodation

The Suntouched Inn offers stylishly decorated double en-suite, twin and family rooms, inspired by our travels. We offer delicious breakfasts, which are included in our rates, and all linen is provided. We have also recently converted our garden cottage into a dorm room for the budget traveller. Guests are welcome to relax by our swimming pool and make use of our braai facilities or dine in our fully licenced restaurant and lounge bar.

Sihanouk:
With decor inspired by our honeymoon to Cambodia and Vietnam, this beautiful room has a double bed, DSTV and en-suite bathroom with a wonderful old victorian bath.

Fez:
The romatic Fez room is inspired by the mystery of North Africa. The Fez room has a double bed, and a separate bathroom with shower. (DSTV is available in the guest lounge).

Ubuntu:
In keeping with the African spirit of ubuntu (sharing), this twin room, with décor inspired by contemporary Southern Africa has two single beds and a separate bathroom with shower (DSTV is available in the guest lounge).

Suntouched:
This fun, family room with its sunny décor has a double bed and separate double bunk area for the kids (kids under 8 stay free in this room), DSTV, and en-suite bathroom (with shower).

Garden Cottage:
This delightful dorm room with en-suite shower is situated in our garden, apart from the main house. It has 2 bunk beds, sleeping up to 4 people, and caters to the backpacker or budget traveller. It offers gorgeous views from the verandah over the village and neighbouring barley and canola fields.

Napier

Centrally situated in the heart of the Overberg and just under 2 hours from Cape Town, Napier is the perfect base from which to explore the diverse and fascinating Overberg Region of South Africa. There are some wonderful day trips out from Napier, or simply spend the day wandering around the historically rich village. Activities include: Bird Watching, Braai / Barbecue, Wine tasting, Flower Viewing, Horse Riding, Mountain Biking, Walking / Hiking and Shopping. Napier also now proudly boasts its own brewery - sample “Napier Bier” on a tour through the brewery.

Directions

From Cape Town Direction: Turn off the N2 at Caledon and simply follow the R316 all the way into Napier. The Suntouched Inn is situated on the main road, on the right hand side, just before the ABSA bank. From Knysna Direction: Turn off the N2 at Swellendam and proceed to Bredasdorp. From there, turn right onto the R316 and follow it into Napier. We are on the left hand side on the main road, just after the ABSA bank.
