The bay is a playground for huge numbers of dolphins, which visit our waters almost daily, and is a preferred breeding ground of the southern right whale. These “kings of the deep” are frequently seen during the months of July to October, when they sometimes approach almost to the breaker line. At such times a good pair of binoculars will provide a virtual eye-to-eye encounter with one of the true marvels of the animal kingdom. Best locality country hospitality.
